We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with residents and colleagues.
  • Respect for residents' autonomy, dignity, and right to self-respect and privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards influencing the operation of the nursing home and nursing department.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests, and Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

All staff are required to adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols and wear a mask at all times.
