EXTENDICARE (CANADA) INC. is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a nursing home/home for the aged setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver health education programs to patients and their families
- Manage home care cases and provide consultative services regarding nursing practice
- Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform duties in a physically demanding environment
