Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an Insurance Specialist, you will work closely with our Wealth Advisors to develop and implement comprehensive insurance and estate planning strategies for our high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Wealth Advisors to identify insurance opportunities and develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Partner with Wealth Advisors to conduct discovery processes and provide recommendations for comprehensive insurance and estate planning advice.
  • Design and implement insurance strategies that align with clients' current and evolving needs.
  • Establish trust and build strong relationships with clients through exceptional advice and service.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to underwrite new policies and navigate underwriting obstacles.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an insurance advisor in a high-performing, client-service-oriented capacity.
  • Completion of the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
  • Industry designations such as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) are considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer systems including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
