Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Hy\u2019s Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth service delivery
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen goals and objectives
Work Environment and Conditions

The Sous Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
