Director of Inuit Employment and Training

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Inuit Employment and Training initiatives. As Director of Inuit Employment and Training, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs to achieve full representative levels of Inuit employment in Nunavut.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage complex projects related to Inuit employment and training
- Collaborate with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the Nunavut Agreement
- Oversee the management of the Mikigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation and its associated funding
- Develop and manage project budgets and financial plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to NTI staff and departments
- Experience in developing and managing complex projects
- Experience in financial management, policy development, and program design
- Good understanding of employee recruitment and planning systems
- Fluency in Inuktut is an asset
