Director of Inuit Employment and Training

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Inuit Employment and Training. This position is responsible for ensuring that the commitments to full representative levels of Inuit Employment workforces in Nunavut are being effectively and creatively met.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage complex projects related to Inuit employment and training
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective financial management and compliance with legislations
- Provide policy development, program design, and delivery support to the organization
- Oversee the effective management of the Mikigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation and its associated funding
- Collaborate with other NTI departments and staff to implement the May 4, 2015 Settlement Agreement with the Government of Canada and Nunavut
- Experience in developing and managing complex projects, including project budgets and financial management
- Strong understanding of employee recruitment and planning systems, as well as public and/or private sector hiring practices
- Excellent research and analysis skills, with the ability to provide policy recommendations
- Fluency in Inuktut is a definite asset
- Experience in mentorship, coaching, and training is an asset
