Director of Inuit Employment and Training

Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Inuit Employment and Training. This position is responsible for ensuring that the commitments to full representative levels of Inuit Employment workforces in Nunavut are being effectively and creatively met.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage complex projects related to Inuit employment and training
- Develop and manage project budgets and financial management
- Provide policy development and program design expertise
- Oversee the effective management of the Mikigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation and its associated funding
- Coordinate with other NTI departments and staff to implement the May 4, 2015 Settlement Agreement with the Government of Canada and Nunavut
- Experience in developing and managing complex projects
- Experience in financial management, policy development, and program design
- Good understanding of employee recruitment and planning systems
- Fluency in Inuktut is a definite asset
