Job Title: Site Leader

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Leader to oversee and coordinate the delivery of direct patient/resident care at our Regional Hospitals. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety, while also providing leadership and direction to our Patient Care Coordinators and Charge Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and coordinate the delivery of direct patient/resident care at the Regional Hospitals, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to Patient Care Coordinators and Charge Nurses, making critical decisions and solving complex problems that impact patient/resident care and safety.
  3. Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of patient/resident service interfaces between clinical units/departments, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  4. Coordinate hospital operations in accordance with established policies and standards of quality and patient care, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to these guidelines.
  5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with on-site medical and clinical healthcare providers, management and administrative personnel, addressing and facilitating resolution of customer service/client relations issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an approved School of Nursing.
  • Five (5) years' recent, relevant, acute care experience, including a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory and/or administrative capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
