Job Title: Foundations Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Foundations Teacher to join our team at Flex Academy. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a flexible educational model, supporting the academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth of students. This is a 1.0 FTE position, and the ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our Christ-centered approach to education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of students
  • Plan, teach, assess, and report, while maintaining good classroom management
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary
  • Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings, and parents meetings
  • Maintain daily communication with students, families, and staff
  • Actively participate as a member of the staff team
Requirements:

  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Ability to manage, change, and adapt to varied workloads in a start-up environment

What We Offer:
  • 1.0 FTE depending on position
  • Competitive wage ($48,477 to $83,727 based upon 1.0 FTE, depends upon years of experience and education level)
