Job Title: Foundations Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Foundations Teacher to join our team at Flex Academy, a new JK-12 campus school in Kelowna, BC. As a Foundations Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating students within a flexible educational model and supporting their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of students, planning and teaching engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining good classroom management. You will also collaborate with other departments as necessary, plan field trips, and participate in school and staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of students
  • Plan, teach, assess, and report, while maintaining good classroom management
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary
  • Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings
  • Maintain daily communication with students, families, and staff
  • Actively participate as a member of the staff team
Requirements:

  • BC Certified Teacher
