Job Title: Foundations Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Foundations Teacher to join our team at Flex Academy. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Kindergarten students, fostering their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth. This is a 1.0 FTE position, and the ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our school's Foundational Beliefs and a passion for innovative education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events
  • Maintain open communication with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
  • BC Certified Teacher
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
