Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
  • Perform preventive maintenance and tarping to ensure the safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Short-haul experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
