Job Summary:
You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all of our equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks and equipment, hydraulics, electrical and heavy power trains. Each day will be different as some service calls are off site or require emergency on-road repairs requiring you to diagnose and rectify the problem.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining all equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks and equipment, hydraulics, electrical and heavy power trains;
- Diagnosing and rectifying problems with equipment;
- Performing preventative and predictive maintenance;
- Documenting daily service activities to ensure overall organization of the shop;
- Promoting and executing a safety-first culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants;
- Assisting in decision-making for outside repairs to equipment and supporting general shop maintenance.
Requirements:
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician license (consideration for a 310S or 421A license or apprentice);
- Valid G license;
- Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems;
- Possess own set of tools;
- Comfortable working outdoors in any season.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DZ license, an asset;
- Road side service experience;
- Experience with diagnostic software and electronic document/time keeping;
- Welding and fabrication experience;
- Valid Ozone Depletion Training.
Compensation Package:
Our competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
