Financial Professional for Valeo Pharma

Valeo Pharma, a Canadian pharmaceutical company focused on innovation and growth, is currently seeking a skilled Financial Professional to join their team in the Finance department.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong financial and analytical acumen. Reporting directly to the Controller, the candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. The company offers opportunities for advancement, a competitive salary of $62,500-$72,500 per year, as well as a comprehensive group benefit plan.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and process account payables, including reviewing and verifying invoices, confirming approvals and accurate coding, and preparing payments;
- Review and validate employee-submitted travel and entertainment expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Support the monthly closing process by ensuring that all transactions under the scope of this role are accurately recorded, reconciled, and prepared for review;
- Participate in the preparation of external reports for various stakeholders (government, suppliers, etc.);
- Perform any other related tasks as required by the department.
Qualifications and Profile:
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience required in a relevant role;
- A professional or college diploma in accounting, administration, or office automation;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to shift priorities and work under pressure;
- Experience with SAP Business One and Concur would be an asset;
- Bilingual (French and English).
