Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Border City Storage Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensuring that our customers receive their goods on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics processes.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as required.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational activities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate activities and ensure seamless communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
  • Proficiency in computer software and equipment to support operational activities.
Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The language of work is English.
