Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Border City Storage Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Planning and Coordination: Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks, oversee operational logistics, and plan and organize operational logistics to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, arrange training for staff, and develop relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations
