Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafting Specialist to join our team at GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and training new drafting personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy.
  • Train and mentor new drafting personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages.
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and consult with clients and engineers to resolve any issues.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
