Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson

GAGE METAL CLADDING LIMITED is seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in the preparation of engineering designs and drawings. The successful candidate will have experience in drafting and design, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine work requirements
  • Train new drafting personnel on company procedures and software
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Examine drawings for accuracy and completeness
  • Consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements
  • Lead and instruct groups on drafting and design tasks
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 2 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
