Are you looking for a challenging role that combines account management and relationship building skills? At Aon, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as an Account Executive.

This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our St. Johns office. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for retaining existing client accounts and developing new revenue streams, including new accounts and new opportunities within existing relationships.

You will work closely with our experienced team of colleagues to bring the best of Aon to our clients. This includes delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our General Industry business group within Aon Risk Solutions in Atlantic Canada.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent experience, as well as a Provincial Insurance license. CIP, FCIP, CAIB, and CRM designations are preferable, or you may be working towards them. You will also need to have 2 to 5 years of commercial insurance experience and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

What the day will look like

As an Account Executive, your primary focus will be on retention of existing client accounts and development of new revenue streams. You will work closely with our team to deliver innovative and effective solutions to our clients.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent experience
