Industrial Sales Account Professional

Job Overview:
Grainger Businesses is seeking an Industrial Sales Account Professional to drive sales growth in a specific geography or vertical market. This role involves producing positive sales growth, managing customer relationships, and utilizing Grainger's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer goals and remain responsive to changing customer needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of market data and resources to respond to new developments in the customer's business.
- Oversee support of managed inventory tasks to increase sales results.
- Develop account penetration strategies and provide solutions to grow profitable sales.
- Travel to customer sites regularly and adhere to safety requirements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of direct outside sales experience or equivalent inside sales or marketing experience.
- Sales forecasting and customer planning skills.
- Ability to utilize sales process to uncover customer objections and determine solutions.
- Process discipline and ability to align planning goals with a pipeline development process.
