About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Advisor to join our team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Winnipeg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trust accounts, ensuring timely and accurate fiduciary management, and providing expert guidance to clients and their advisors.

Responsibilities
  • Administer trust accounts in accordance with governing documents, trust law, and relevant legislation
  • Develop and deliver business plans to attract new clients and grow existing relationships
  • Ensure strategic objectives are met and service is customized to each client's unique needs
  • Manage a team of administrative professionals and demonstrate ownership and accountability in managing client requests
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services or a related industry
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of trust services and dedication to staying up-to-date on policy developments and issues
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (or willingness to complete)
Nice to Have

While not required, previous experience working with Indigenous communities and/or matters, as well as knowledge of complex legal documents, would be an asset.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $105,000, depending on factors such as experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
