Salary Range: $56,000 - 65,000

This role is eligible for a discretionary/variable incentive payment, reflecting the potential impact you can make in this position.

 

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Trust Administrator, Indigenous Wealth, to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our trust administration group, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our strategic goals and drive sustainable shareholder returns.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Officers in all administrative functions
  • Evaluate and ensure that trust deeds are implemented in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate account information on internal systems
  • Support the efficient onboarding of new business and contribute to process improvements
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external contacts, including clients
  • Investigate inquiries and errors, referring complex issues to Senior Officers when necessary
  • Familiarize yourself with RBC processes and policies and respond promptly to client calls

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience in the financial services industry
  • Post-secondary education
  • Successful completion of STEP Canada's Foundations of Estate and Trust Administration course (CETA1) or willingness to complete upon employment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and difficult situations professionally
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through capabilities
  • Effective teamwork and relationship-building skills, as success in this role depends on collaboration with others
