Professional Practice Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Practice Leader to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a key member of our Interprofessional Practice and Learning team, you will play a critical role in advancing excellence in quality person-centered care and practice.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of clinical experience, with a strong background in interprofessional practice and learning. They will also have a proven track record of leadership experience, with a focus on clinical practice, clinical leadership, and inter/intra professional collaboration.
The Professional Practice Leader will be responsible for facilitating and advancing excellence in quality person-centered care and practice through the integration of various services aimed at supporting and enhancing professional practice. They will work closely with our team to develop, implement, and maintain a model for inter/intra professional practice and standards consistent with health professional regulatory bodies and associations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks applicable to the practice of health professions, as well as experience working with diversity of learners, staff, and stakeholders. They will also have a proven ability to manage conflict and foster conflict management strategies, as well as demonstrated success in collaborating with others and leading change.
