We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inter-Professional Clinical Leader to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, innovation, and support to our clinical program area, with a focus on delivering high-quality, person-centered care to patients and families.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team/program managers, professional practice coordinators, physicians, nurse leaders, and other team members to promote interprofessional collaborative care and improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in a health-related discipline, such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience with related leadership skills. You will also possess a strong understanding of person-centered health, sound judgment, and the ability to establish good working relationships with patients, colleagues, management, and community agencies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with quality and project initiatives related to improving service delivery and patient care, as well as competencies in other languages, with French being an asset.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and support to the clinical program area
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with team members to promote interprofessional collaborative care
- Contribute to quality and project initiatives related to improving service delivery and patient care
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with patients, colleagues, management, and community agencies
We offer a competitive salary of $46.36 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
