Insurance Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients, educating them on our products, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish personalized telephone contact with clients to create a climate of trust and sell insurance policies.
  • Seize sales opportunities, solicitations, and product offers to drive revenue growth.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, utilizing a customer-focused, needs-based review process.
Requirements:
  • Sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals and targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to customers.
  • Strong work ethic, with a total commitment to success.
  • Organized, with the ability to problem-solve and work as a team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong understanding of social media and technology.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others, with leadership skills.
Qualifications:
  • Property and Casualty license, with the ability to obtain.
  • Life and Health license, with the ability to obtain.
  • Strong understanding of social media and technology.
  • Product/sales experience, with a college diploma in a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience, with previous insurance experience in various property and casualty disciplines.

This position is with an independent contractor agent, part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The agent's employees are not employees of Desjardins.
