Administrative Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at B2B Freightways Inc.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including opening and distributing mail, setting up and maintaining manual and computerized filing systems, and typing and proofreading correspondence and documents.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, order office supplies, and maintain inventory.
  • Customer Service: Answer electronic enquiries and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Experience is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to multitask, organized, client focus, and reliability are essential for this role.
Work Environment:
  • Language: English language is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $35,000 to $50,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
