The St. Joseph's Health Care, London team provides comprehensive mental health care services to individuals and their supports experiencing severe and persistent challenges.

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist for our Treatment and Rehabilitation Program, who will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert clinical nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • To develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • To facilitate teaching and learning opportunities for patients, families, and staff
  • To participate in research and quality improvement initiatives within the program

Requirements:

  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MScN) or Masters of Nursing (MN)
  • Current Registration with the CNO
  • Superior interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in mental health assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, consultative support, and evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
  • Certification in psychiatric rehabilitation interventions
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience
