Rundle Chalets is seeking a skilled Front Desk Associate to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Cash Handling: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, balancing cash and completing balance sheets and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering telephone calls and relaying messages, and assisting guests with special needs.

Requirements: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, permanent employment, and fluency in English. 30 to 40 hours per week.
