Rundle Chalets is seeking a skilled Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take and cancel room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Cash Handling: Process guest payments, balance cash, and complete balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as required.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and assist with clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.

Work Environment

  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
