Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Finlayson Hospitality Partners Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
- Hire and train food service staff, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and perform basic math calculations.
