About the Role:
We are seeking a Luxury Banking Client Service Associate to join our team in Private Wealth Management. This role is responsible for servicing the needs of High Net Worth (HNW) clients and ensuring that each one has a legendary client experience.
Job Description:
As a Luxury Banking Client Service Associate, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Private Banker (SPB) in their achievement of business results, profitability, and partner referrals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional client service at every customer interaction
- Assisting in client onboarding and recommending retail solutions
- Identifying opportunities to expand existing client and prospect relationships
- Producing reports and composing correspondence as required
- Ensuring satisfactory resolution of client inquiries and taking ownership of coordinating responses with other Partners as necessary
- Exercising discretion in managing correspondence, information, and all matters of confidentiality; escalating issues where appropriate
- Identifying, suggesting, and actively participating in process improvement opportunities
- Ensuring necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions/activities
- Assuming responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of Conduct
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An undergraduate degree preferred
- 3 years relevant financial services experience
- Demonstrated experience in Private Banking or experience in dealing with affluent clients required
- Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products, systems, and services
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial and retail credit principles
- A self-starter that works with minimal supervision
- Tact to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way; handling of sensitive customer information and resolution of exceptions
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC), or willingness to do so within 1 year
Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, variable compensation, and several other key plans such as health and well-being benefits, savings and retirement programs, paid time off, banking benefits and discounts, career development, and reward and recognition programs.
