We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain all aspects of the building, including interior, exterior, and grounds, mechanical, electrical, and site aesthetics.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties on all building components as per the preventative maintenance schedule and manufacturer's specifications.
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as painting of suites, and fixing sinks and doors.
- Review, perform, or coordinate all maintenance requests and resident requests, prioritizing tasks based on importance.
- Directly deal with trades, suppliers, and contracted services related to the maintenance department.
- Related building or facility maintenance background is a must.
- A strong mechanical or electrical understanding.
- Class 4 driver's license considered an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work through various situations.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize work.
- Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate budgets.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to create sound and economical solutions in emergency situations.
- Clear Criminal Record - Vulnerable Sector check.
- Immunization Records.
- Competitive salary of $25.70 per hour as per provincial wage leveling.
