Job Title: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all aspects of the building, including interior, exterior, and grounds, mechanical, electrical, and site aesthetics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties on all building components as per the preventative maintenance schedule and manufacturer's specifications.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks such as painting of suites, and fixing sinks and doors.
  • Review, perform, or coordinate all maintenance requests and resident requests, prioritizing tasks in order of importance.
  • Directly deal with trades, suppliers, and contracted services related to the maintenance department.
Requirements:
  • Related building or facility maintenance background is a must.
  • A strong mechanical or electrical understanding.
  • Class 4 driver's license considered an asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and work through various situations.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate budgets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to create sound and economical solutions in emergency situations.
  • Clear Criminal Record - Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Immunization Records.
