About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton South.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Negotiate with Suppliers

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible rates and terms for hotel materials and supplies.

Front Desk Management

Manage the front desk operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient check-in/check-out processes.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage hotel budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed financial decisions to drive business growth.

Maintenance and Facilities

Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and meet high standards.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Work Language

English.

Work Term

Permanent.

Hours

32 to 35 hours per week.
