Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Work Conditions: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
