The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing physiotherapy services to patients across various units, including acute, medical-surgical, and rehabilitation settings.
- Working closely with occupational therapists, OTA/PTA's, and discharge planners to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient goals and objectives.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and care coordination.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current licensure with the College of Physiotherapy.
- Minimum one year of experience working in an acute hospital setting.
- Proven experience working with acute, surgical, and rehabilitation patients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
- Physical ability to manage a moderately heavy workload.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Satisfactory attendance and employment record.
Working Conditions
- Monday to Sunday, all shifts, with flexible scheduling as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
