Food Services Director

We are seeking an experienced Food Services Manager to lead our team at Krawchuk Enterprises Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures. You will also be responsible for balancing cash, completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, as well as conducting performance reviews and cost products and services.

Work Setting

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, with a budgetary responsibility of $100,001 - $500,000. They will be required to organize and maintain inventory, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.

Tasks
  1. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  2. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  3. Conduct performance reviews.
  4. Cost products and services.
  5. Organize and maintain inventory.
  6. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  7. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  8. Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  9. Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  10. Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  11. Provide customer service.
  12. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Supervision

The Food Services Manager will be responsible for supervising 11-15 people. They will be required to have knowledge of accounting software, electronic cash registers, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, point of sale systems, and spreadsheets.

Transportation/Travel Information

Public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines. They will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
