Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Crop Inputs Business Development Manager to join our team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the volume of the crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities
- Coach and mentor customer service representatives
- Develop and implement annual and seasonal plans to drive business growth
- Monitor market developments and updates to determine competitive price offerings
- Promote P&H's service programs and manage third-party applications
- Develop and manage budgets and credit and collection programs
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a role managing or related to the sale of crop inputs
- Post-secondary education in an Ag-related, Science, or Business field
- Certified Crop Advisor, P. Ag., or related designation considered an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of the crop inputs and grain business
- Working knowledge of profit and loss statements
- Ability to network and build relationships while providing excellent customer service
