Join BC Cancer, a leading cancer care provider in Canada, as we seek an experienced Senior Clinical Services Manager to lead our clinical operations team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Regional Clinical Operations, this role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the management of clinical services across our regional cancer centers.

About the Role

This senior leadership position requires a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical operations management, quality improvement, and staff development. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care, operational efficiency, and staff engagement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical service plans to achieve organizational objectives;
  • Provide guidance and support to clinical teams to improve patient care and outcomes;
  • Collaborate with regional and provincial stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and coordination of care;
  • Maintain effective working relationships with medical, nursing, administrative, and other regional and provincial leadership positions;
  • Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to drive business results.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, nursing, public health) or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in clinical operations management, quality improvement, or a related field;
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities, with a track record of fostering collaborative working relationships;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships within a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Critical thinking skills and proven ability to effectively manage human and fiscal resources;
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of quality assurance processes, operational planning, and program development.
