About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mine Planning Dewatering Engineer Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mine planning and dewatering, working with a team of experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of dewatering plans and strategies
  • Conduct field visits to identify dewatering priorities and task planning
  • Perform dewatering weekly reconciliation and support with pumping requirements
  • Support with discharge pipe designs and environmental compliance
  • Contribute to continuous improvements initiatives related to dewatering

Requirements

  • At least one year completed in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Geology or Mine Engineering related field
  • Safety mindset and leadership skills
  • Flexibility and autonomy, with good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Where You Will Be Working

Our internship is based in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, where you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of dewatering plans and strategies, conducting field visits to identify dewatering priorities and task planning, and performing dewatering weekly reconciliation and support with pumping requirements.
