Mine Planning Dewatering Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mine Planning Dewatering Engineer Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mine planning and dewatering, working with a team of experienced professionals in the industry.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and communication of short, medium, and long-range dewatering plans that align with the company's strategy and 5-year plans.
- Conduct field visits to identify dewatering priorities, task planning, and drill and blast issues.
- Perform weekly dewatering reconciliation and support with pumping requirements, pump setups, sump, and well designs.
- Support with discharge pipe designs and environmental compliance and long-range environmental permitting requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to dewatering and coordinate maintenance of all dewatering equipment and updating through the asset management system.
- Create and maintain accurate layouts of all mine dewatering infrastructure through Vulcan.
- Participate in HSE-related programs, including safety talks and field observations.
- At least one year completed in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Geology, or Mine Engineering related field.
- Safety mindset and leadership skills, eagerness to learn, and readiness for the challenge ahead.
- Flexibility and autonomy, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
- Valid driving license.
