**Mine Planning Internship**

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Mine Planning team in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. As a Mine Planning Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to mine engineering, including planning horizons, blast events, and infrastructure planning.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist mine planners with planning horizons, blast events, and infrastructure planning
  • Perform mine reconciliation (spatial, equipment, haulage network)
  • Contribute to continuous improvements initiatives related to unlocking haulage capacity
  • Provide mine design support
  • Assist in the implementation of our downhill haulage procedure through updates to our traffic management plan, mine design standards, and risk assessment
  • Participate in HSE related programs, including safety talks and field observations

**Requirements**

  • At least one year completed in Mining Engineering or related field
  • Safety mindset
  • Leadership skills, eagerness to learn and ready for the challenge ahead
  • Flexibility and autonomy
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Valid driving license
