Current Opportunities

We have multiple opportunities ranging from entry-level positions to experienced professions such as Formwork Carpenters, Concrete Finishes and Labourers. These roles are projected to kick off early in March and will work a 14/7 rotation. Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the successful candidates will be responsible for deliverables of the project to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.

About the Project

As part of the greater remediation project at Giant Mine in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, we are seeking skilled individuals to join our team. This project is a significant undertaking that requires a high level of expertise and dedication.

Your Role

  • You will work closely with our site supervisor to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • You will be responsible for performing tasks such as formwork, concrete finishing, and laboring.
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment with continuously changing work tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous industrial experience is an asset.
  • You must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and policies on an industrial job site.
  • You should be able to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • You should be able to work in all weather conditions and environments.

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
