Automotive Mechanic

Jiffy Lube Yellowknife is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities- Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids, install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers or radiators, change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks or heavy equipment, repair and balance tires, and replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment.
- Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

Supports newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, does not require Canadian work experience, estimated salary $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on industry standards in Yellowknife.
