Automation and Measurement Engineering Team Lead

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to fill the role of Automation and Measurement Engineering Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Automation and Measurement Engineering workgroup to ensure effective and efficient delivery of engineering services.
- Coordinate technical support for maintaining measurement, regulation, automation PLC, and quality control equipment.
- Develop and maintain plant control standards, specifications, procedures, and processes.
- Delegate work assignments and monitor progress, ensuring compliance with policies and legislative/regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement advanced technologies to provide business benefits.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Develop annual and long-term capital budgets for automation and measurement equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic Systems, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, or Petroleum preferred).
- Professional Engineer Designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan.
- Seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience related to pipeline and compression facilities in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence employee engagement.
- Ability to foster a culture focused on innovation and teamwork.
