Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Solutions Expert to join our team in Regina or Saskatoon. This role involves providing technical application and implementation of Emerson Process Management DeltaV Systems solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide planned services to customers, including backups, upgrades, integrations, migrations, optimizations, system expansions, and system health assessments.
  • Configure control strategies, shutdown keys, and Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) for DeltaV Systems.
  • Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) graphics and interface with third-party products such as PLCs, HMIs, OPC Clients, Historians, etc.
  • Perform site acceptance testing and plant commissioning at customer sites, including loop checks, HMI/graphic checks, 3rd party interface checks, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support for sales teams as required.
Requirements
  • An engineering degree, engineering technology diploma, or instrumentation background is required; journeyman instrument certification will be considered.
  • Training will be provided, but experience with DeltaV or other industrial automation control systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer service practices are essential.
  • Detailed-oriented individuals with effective interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • A strong aptitude for solving problems and continuous learning is necessary.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is crucial.
Estimated Salary

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
