Job Overview

TorontoJobs Recruitment Division is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their team at a well-established registered investment management firm in Burlington, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage fund and corporate audits, ensuring compliance with various regulations.
  • Analyze and validate financial data, including reviewing and creating spreadsheets.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial entries and monthly reporting.
  • Oversee the Funds' weekly and monthly NAVs, ensuring accurate transactional activity.
  • Support the compliance regime, including updating the Compliance Manual and regulatory reporting.
  • Participate in additional tasks and assist the Management Team as required.

Requirements:

  • CPA or CA designation preferred.
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and understanding of QuickBooks.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
