About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our KidStrong St. Albert location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing center operations, and leading a team of coaches and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Center Operations
    • Master the Numbers: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our financials and key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Relationship Guru: Foster strong relationships with members, coaches, and families to ensure a positive and engaging experience
    • Keep it Running: Maintain a clean and organized center, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
    • Delegate Tasks: Effectively manage and delegate tasks to your team, ensuring clear communication and expectations
    • Flex Your Weekly Schedule: Work a flexible schedule, including 4 weekdays and 1 weekend shift
  • Sales
    • Drive Membership: Collaborate with your team to set sales goals and strategies to increase membership
    • Lead the Charge: Develop and implement sales initiatives to drive growth and revenue
    • Be the Face: Represent KidStrong at local events and activities to build brand awareness and drive sales
  • Leadership
    • Foster Growth: Inspire and develop your team to achieve their full potential
    • Recruit & Train: Attract, onboard, and train high-quality coaches to deliver exceptional results
    • Develop: Utilize KidStrong's training tools to enhance your own skills and knowledge, as well as those of your team
    • Stay Connected: Maintain open and clear communication with your team and stakeholders
  • Coaching
    • Be Hands-On: Deliver our high-quality curriculum and provide exceptional coaching to our members
    • Keep your finger on the pulse: Actively coach 3-5 classes per week, ensuring a high level of engagement and participation
    • Track Progress: Utilize our coaching app to monitor attendance, achievements, and progress
    • Stay Active: Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, navigating a physically demanding environment
    • Certification: Achieve Coach Certification through KidStrong HQ Training
Requirements
  • Coaching Background: Experience working with children aged 15 months to 11 years
  • People Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members, coaches, and families
  • Tech Savvy: Practical experience with Google, Microsoft, and other relevant software
  • CPR Certification: Current certification or willingness to obtain
