About the Role:

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
  • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate financial management
  • Establish work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
