Job Title: Retail Store Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize payments by cheque and return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
